Last night, my son was driving our car home when the drive shaft decided it had had enough and completely broke, leaving him stranded on a busy road. Thankfully, he happened to break down right in front of EV Rides—talk about good (or maybe bad?) timing! I rushed over to assess the situation, expecting chaos, but instead, I found the amazing folks at EV Rides already on the scene, helping my son move the car to a safer spot. They spent the next hour with us, brainstorming ways to make the car at least somewhat drivable so we could limp it to a more secure location. They truly went above and beyond for a couple of strangers, working hard to get us back on the road. It's proof that true kindness still exists! If our experience is any indication of how they run their business, I can't imagine anyone not wanting to work with them. A huge thank you to the EV Rides team!!

They put 150 miles back into our 2016 Nissan Leaf. Worst part was trying to get out of their driveway without getting T-boned. And they even helped with that. 🙂

Love our 2017 Leaf! It is now our primary car. We charge the car every other day for 1.5 hours.

Guillermo was extremely helpful, patient and accommodating as we went through the process of test driving, then processing the paperwork. I'm very happy with my vehicle, and everything went very smoothly. Also, they have a unique business model of outfitting used EVs with updated batteries. You pick the car, then pick the battery capacity/range that fits your budget. I went with a 40kwh battery, and it is perfect for in-town driving and beyond (160 mile max range). But if you need more distance, they have options. Can't recommend EV Rides enough!

EDIT: We came back and bought another vehicle (June 2024) after our original EV was hit in an accident. So incredibly helpful in figuring out an insurance nightmare. Bought a refurbished Nissan Leaf in May 2022 and we love our car. We feel we got a great deal on it. This is our first EV and Guillermo was super helpful in giving advice for EV ownership. We recommend EV Rides to everyone.
